New employees have 30 days from their hire date to enroll in benefits plans. Current DU employees can make changes to their benefits with in 30 days after any of these circumstances:

New Hire Employees - How to Enroll for 好处

作为一名新雇员, you 和 your dependents are eligible for benefits on the first day of the month following your date of hire into an appointed position. If your hire date occurs on the first of the month, your benefits may start on your hire date or the first of the following month.

You have 30 days from your date of hire to enroll in the benefit plans. 在那之后, employees may only change their insurance 和 flexible spending benefits during the annual 开放登记 period or as a result of an IRS 合格生活事件 such as the loss of employment-related coverage by a spouse or dependent.

Current Employees - When Can I change My 好处?

Employees may only make changes to their benefits under three circumstances:

  • Employees at the 20224欧洲杯官网买球入口 have the opportunity to elect different benefits during the annual 开放登记 period held each year in the fall. This is the time for benefits-eligible employees to sign up for medical, 牙科和视力保险计划, or to make changes in their coverage choices (such as switching medical plans, 添加覆盖, 和 setting up or changing flexible spending accounts). All enrollments 和 changes made during the 开放登记 period become effective on January 1.

  • Employees may modify their benefits plans as a result of an employment-related loss of coverage affecting a spouse or parent.
